Bebaroque was founded in 2007 by two young Scottish designer, Mhairi McNicol and Chloe Patience. They received a major award as the Scottish Accessory Designer of the Year to the Scottish Fashion Awards. Chloe takes care of the graphics, while Mhairi of the elaborate hand embroidery. Their products are available in London in all types of stores from Harrods to Liberty, from Urban Outfitters to Bordello (very tasty for all those girls like me who love the sexy lingerie: P) . Models appeared wearing a British newspaper and not, as our Vogue Italy twice (October and March).
Their creations are really wonderful, and fit well into the Burlesque Revival style, thanks to Dita Von Teese , and courses of actions and style year 20/30. Worthy of note are the socks and body with tattoos from Japanese pirates or sailors, with ruffles around the leggings, black stockings and studded with golden tablets, the latter a very rock and glam.
How about a trip to London at the weekend?
